About the Role:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organised Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring efficient front desk operations in a busy single site medical imaging clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
* Schedule and confirm appointments using medical imaging software systems
* Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries
* Process patient referrals and verify details
* Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality
* Liaise with Radiologists and Sonographers to ensure smooth workflow
* Handle billing and payment processing as needed
About You:
* Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare administration (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and medical scheduling systems (e.g., RIS/PACS)
* Understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality protocols
