Job Description:
The application packager is responsible for maintaining the end-user standard operating environment.
* Full lifecycle management of packages
* Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to capture requirements for application packaging and deployment
* Create application packages
* Configure, test, and maintain application deployment tools and systems, ensuring high-availability, disaster recovery, cost, and performance efficiency
* Test, quality-assure, and deploy packaged applications in production and pre-production environments as required
* Configure systems to remove installed applications no longer required
* Track and resolve level 3+ incidents, problems, and requests related to application packaging and deployment
* Evaluate all packaging activities and artefacts against applicable policies and standards
* Collaborate with other teams to implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and policies
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience creating and deploying packages for Windows 10- or/and Windows 11-based SOE and Apple iPhones in a secure, enterprise environment or government agency
* Strong technical knowledge of Intune; Autopilot; AD/AzureAD Windows application packaging procedures; M365, Windows 10/11, and desktop environments
* Strong technical knowledge of mobile device management systems for creating, maintaining, and managing application deployments for company mobile phones (iPhones)
* Experience with scripting and automation such as BASH, Python, Powershell
* Ability to troubleshoot issues
* At least 6 months' experience in the use of ServiceNow for IT Service Management
