The Opportunity:
Komatsu is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our high‑performing Rental team in Sherwood. This hands‑on role is ideal for tradespeople who enjoy independence, problem‑solving, and working with world‑class machinery.
You will diagnose, maintain, and repair a diverse range of Komatsu mobile plant equipment across customer sites, contributing to safe, efficient, and high‑quality outcomes. The responsibilities:
* Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Komatsu mobile plant rental equipment, including excavators, graders, dozers, and more.
* Accurately complete service reports, condition reports, and associated documentation.
* Use Komatsu ICT systems and testing equipment to assess machine performance and identify required adjustments.
* Work efficiently in the field, often independently, while upholding Komatsu safety and quality standards.
* Support the machine lifecycle process, including on/off‑hire inspections and equipment condition assessments.
* Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Roster: 7:7 roster, 12-hour shifts, primarily day shifts -6:00am to 6:0pm
Annualised Wages: $126,899.36 - $152,394.74 + tool of trade vehicle + super
