About the role
Thiess is seeking Auto Electricians for our Queensland sites, including Caval Ridge, Lake Vermont, QCoal Northern Hub, Curragh North, Peak Downs, and Olive Downs Complex. Various rosters are available depending on the site location.
In this role, you will:
1. Maintain a fleet of haul trucks and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently to meet site maintenance schedules.
2. Attend in-field breakdowns and repair faults safely and efficiently.
3. Create detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairs.
4. Experience with CAT and Liebherr equipment is desirable.
About you
To succeed in this role, you should have:
1. Proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
2. Post-trade experience in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving Industry.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
