We are seeking a seasoned logistics professional to lead our dispatch operations.
The Role
This role oversees all aspects of dispatch operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate ERP systems to manage dispatch operations
* Analyze orders from customer service and identify any potential issues before they arise
* Lead and supervise dispatch teams across multiple locations
* Coordinate with customer service, inventory, and trade center teams
* Drive lean practices and efficiency improvements
* Manage KPIs and investigate non-conformances
* Ensure compliance with dangerous goods regulations and chain of responsibility legislation
* Oversee stock management, including slow-moving and defective inventory
* Contribute to facilities maintenance and equipment management
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience in logistics supervision or management
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of dangerous goods handling and relevant regulations
* Experience with ERP systems and lean manufacturing principles
* Ability to drive continuous improvement in operations
* Commitment to safety and quality standards

This role is primarily based at Carbrook factory, with regular work at Loganholme warehouse as needed.
