About the Role
Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition – this enables our customers (and your colleagues) to experience an setting that is hygienically clean to work and shop in. You'll work side‑by‑side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day.
What You’ll Do
- Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
- Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
- Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
- Carry out all pre‑start and handover routines for the vehicle
- Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
- Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
- May be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
- Receive full training and assessment in operating our trolley collection vehicles
What You’ll Bring
- Ambitious mindset, love of retail, and passion for people in a promising role with room to grow your career
- Full (unrestricted) Australian driver’s licence or Provisional P2 licence (Green P Plates) or full International driver licence
- Physical fitness essential for this role – you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
- Availability to work across Monday‑Sunday with shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
