About The Role
As the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), you will lead orientation and ongoing education across three key areas: the Outpatient Oncology Unit, the Infusion Lounge, and the Medical/Palliative Care Unit.
Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you will identify learning needs, design and deliver structured education, and provide one-on-one coaching to ensure staff feel confident, supported and equipped to deliver safe, compassionate care.
You will also play a crucial role in supporting the service's quality and safety activities, contributing to audits, incident management, investigations and performance development reviews.
You won't be alone in this role – you'll receive support from the Nurse Unit Manager of each unit, the facility's experienced educator network, the Director of Nursing & Midwifery and the broader Cancer Network across HNELHD.
A typical week brings meaningful variety – facilitating education, responding to staff learning needs, collaborating with leaders and championing high standards of person-centred care across the cancer and medical/palliative care pathway.

Requirements
Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration and who holds relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate.
Current Workplace Training and Assessment Cert IV or willingness to work towards it.
