We are seeking a senior member to serve as the Lead for a team of database developers, responsible for designing, developing, and managing scientific data within our enterprise databases.
The Lead Database Developer plays an important role in the team, serving as the primary interface with stakeholders and coordinator for requested technical work. In addition, the Lead provides technical leadership in the development, implementation, and architecture of Geoscience Australia's Relational Database Management Systems. The core capabilities of the role requires proficiency in the use of Oracle Databases, SQL, PL/SQL coding and Oracle Apex, and a willingness to learn other technologies as required.
