Overview
Biology PhDs (Wet Lab Experience) AI Trainer. We are collaborating with a leading AI research lab to advance the application of AI in tackling complex scientific challenges. This project focuses on building a state-of-the-art benchmark to evaluate the capabilities of cutting-edge AI models in the field of biology. The primary goal is to test the model's ability to understand potential failures in biological research protocols and propose strategies to mitigate these issues. Success in this role requires a robust foundation in biological research methodology and deep knowledge of failure modes in experimental workflows.
Role details
- Workload: 10-20 hours per week, with potential to scale up to 40 hours
- Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous — flexible working hours
- Duration: Initial 1-2 month engagement, with opportunities for extension
Qualifications
- Current Ph.D. student or advanced degree (e.g., Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Scientist) in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Bioengineering, Immunology, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of wet lab experience
- Extensive familiarity with research methods and experimental protocols
- Exceptional attention to detail and rigorous problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
Compensation & Contract
- Competitive hourly compensation
- Independent contractor arrangement
- Weekly payments via Stripe Connect: $60-$80 per hour
