ProTen attributes a great deal of its past success to the adoption and implementation of a continuous improvement culture that encourages employees and other stakeholders to share new ideas and improved practices.About the roleWe are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Farm Manager to join our team onsite across our Yannathan Farms, in our Victoria Region (Postcode 3981).
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Farm Manager to manage the day-to-day operations within cutting-edge, tunnel ventilated broiler bird farms, providing strong leadership to a small team of approximately six to eight staff, in order to ensure cost effective and efficient bird production.
As the Assistant Farm Manager, you\'ll collaborate with, and provide support to, the farm manager through assisting with all of their duties and responsibilities.About you / QualificationsAt least two years' experience in supervisory roles within broiler/breeder farms.Confident in working closely with staff to provide guidance and support, with a cooperative approach with the farm manager.Efficient with excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude; a proven self-starter able to work well in a small team.Right to work in Australia; open-minded, passionate, competent, and hands-on leadership.
