Job Overview
This is an ongoingpositionat a brandnew 102-place early learning and childcare centrejust 25 minutes from Shepparton.
Location:Numurkah, VIC (Approx. 25 minutes from Shepparton/ Cobram or Euchca).
Role:Responsible for planning, preparing, and servingnutritious lunches and morning and afternoon tea for up to 102 childrenper day, managing a generous budget, and maintaining a high standard of hygiene in a first-class kitchen.
Salary:$53k- $71kper yearplus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and modify a nutritious, rotating menu that meets the dietary requirements and cultural needs of all children.
Ensure all food is prepared in line with theFood Safety Actand the service's policies.
Manage food supplies, stock, and ordering to meet budget requirements.
Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment and ensure all equipment is in working order.
Implement and maintain the centre's Food Safety Program.
Work as part of a team
Interact positively with children and families
Follow center's policy and procedures.
Mandatory Qualifications and Background Checks
To be eligible for this role, youmusteither currently hold or be prepared to obtain the following essential qualifications and clearances:

A Certificate in Food Handling or above
Food Safety Supervisor certificate
Child Safety
Victorian Working with Children Check
Consent to a Police Check
International Police Check (required if you have lived outside Australia for 12 months or more within the last 10 years)
Health & Training
Current First Aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain)
Completion of the 'Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting' online learning module (or willingness to obtain)
