About the role
A well-established industrial organisation is seeking an experienced
Workshop Coordinator
to support operations within its Distribution Centre.
This is a critical coordination role working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Engineering and internal support teams to manage the build and flow of engines and parts through the Order to Delivery process.
The role is responsible for scheduling workshop activities, managing labour resources, maintaining promise dates, and ensuring safety, quality and customer delivery outcomes are consistently achieved.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinate and schedule workshop activities to meet completion and customer delivery dates
* Manage labour resources to drive efficiency and reduce waste
* Release parts through the DC process flow in line with Order to Delivery requirements
* Monitor and manage promise dates, CIFOT/DIFOT performance and customer experience outcomes
* Work collaboratively with technical staff, engineering, sales and supply chain teams
* Maintain a strong focus on safety, wellbeing and operational excellence
* Demonstrate professional conduct in line with organisational policies and values
About you
You are a structured, detail-oriented coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced workshop or manufacturing environment.
You communicate clearly, manage competing priorities effectively, and take ownership of outcomes.
Key requirements
* Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualification, or relevant Certificate IV (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing, assembly, or workshop coordination
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
* Customer-focused mindset with high attention to quality and accuracy
* Proactive, goal-oriented approach to work
