Our Bajool Operations in Central Queensland is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated Junior Administration Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Bajool team. Bajool and Port Alma are about 40 km south of Rockhampton and 40 km north of Gladstone.

The Role
Start your administration career with a company that truly values its people. This is a perfect entry-level role for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys variety in their day, and wants to grow their career within a well-established organisation. Reporting to the Administration & Finance Coordinator, this role provides vital administrative support to the Bajool site. With full training and support provided, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with accounts payable and invoice reconciliation
* Managing reception, visitors and incoming telephone calls
* Purchasing, administration and inventory management of packaging and consumables
* Issuing, recording and maintaining PPE allocations and stock
* Assisting with contractor inductions when required
* Supporting the SQE Manager with records, contractor management, training records and compliance (SaltWise system)
* Assisting with record keeping and contractor management
* Despatch administration coverage when required (shared rotating coverage)
* Maintaining a tidy and organised work area
* General administration support as required
About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and ready to build their career in administration. You will have:
* Australian work rights
* A keen interest in administration and learning new systems
* Higher School Certificate (or equivalent)
* Strong computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel)
* High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
* A positive, professional telephone manner
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Desirable: Experience with computer-based Accounts Payable and Payroll systems
