About The Role
As an Assistant Housing Officer, you’ll provide administrative and operational support for tenancy and property management services. You’ll be helping clients with enquiries, eligibility assessments, property inspections, and tenant communications, making a real difference in people’s lives.
What You’ll Do
Respond to client enquiries and provide information on housing and community servicesAssist with client interviews, eligibility assessments, and referralsSupport property inspections and maintenance reportingAssist Housing Officers in delivering services and provide backup supportContribute to tenant communications, newsletters, and community eventsMaintain accurate tenant and property records and support reporting
What We’re Looking For
Certificate IV in social housing or equivalent experienceMinimum two years’ experience in housing or community servicesStrong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsIntermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Current drivers’ licence is a plusAbility to obtain a National Police Certificate, Blue Card, and meet COVID-19 requirements
