Role
The Connected Community School (CCS) trial is a four‐year initiative aimed at connecting students and families with wellbeing supports, community and health services to improve educational and wellbeing outcomes. We are seeking an administrative and clerical support officer to assist the Principal and CCS trial team members.
Responsibilities
* Assist the CCS Manager with administering the school's financial resources, including account and GST coding, reconciliations, invoice processing, month‐end procedures and purchase card acquittals.
* Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes, and follow up on action items.
* Manage incoming telephone calls, visitor enquiries, diary appointments, meetings, emails and other communications.
* Assist with proof‐reading, editing and sub‐editing publications and news media communications to ensure departmental policies and guidelines are adhered to.
Qualifications and Experience
* Good financial management skills and experience providing effective administrative support.
* Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels and maintain effective working relationships.
* Strong initiative, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet conflicting deadlines.
Eligibility
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or visa holder with work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Valid Working With Children Check before the start date.
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and possession of a current Screening Clearance Number before the start date.
