We are a small, independent practice committed to offeringhigh-quality, integrative psychological therapy rooted in compassion,curiosity, and connection. Our work focuses on adults and adolescents navigatingcomplex trauma histories, relational difficulties, and neurodivergenceincluding a special interest in supporting women’s psychological wellbeingacross the lifespan.
The Role:
You will bring at least 10 years’ clinical experience, withsolid grounding in Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems and PsychodynamicTherapy, and a nuanced, trauma-informed approach to working with clients withdeep-rooted emotional patterns. We’re looking for someone who is not onlytechnically skilled, but also emotionally attuned and relationally present.
You’ll be confident integrating Polyvagal Theory, innerchild work, and chair work into your clinical practice, and attuned to theneeds of clients with ASD and ADHD, especially where these intersect withrelational trauma and emotional neglect.
We are particularly keen to hear from someone with a stronginterest in supporting women, whether around early attachment wounds,motherhood or hormonal mental health.
You feel most comfortable when your clients are engaged indoing the work and do not discontinue prematurely, before they having fullybenefited from what therapy can offer or before they achieve their therapeuticgoals. You develop excellent relationships with your clients, fellow teammembers and referring GP’s. You want to work in a practice with an establishedreputation for its professionalism and client-centeredness.
What We’re Looking For:
* AHPRA-registeredClinical Psychologist
* Minimum10 years’ experience post-qualification
* Proficientin Schema Therapy or Internal Family Systems (certified or working towardcertification)
* Strongfoundation in Psychodynamic Therapy and relational approaches
* Deepunderstanding of trauma-informed treatment and Polyvagal Theory
* Skilledin working with neurodivergent adults (ASD, ADHD)
* Comfortablewith inner child work, chair work, and non-pathologizing frameworks
* Passionateabout women’s psychological wellbeing
* Ableto work independently but value collaboration and reflective dialogue
