The Role
Reporting to the maintenance supervisor on your crew you will enjoy working in a close-knit team of 7 mobile plant maintenance trades people and be responsible for the following duties;-
* Workshop - servicing, preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, major component change outs, general repairs, fault finding & diagnostics
* Field (when competent) - breakdowns, fault finding, diagnostics
* Machinery - UG mining trucks, boggers, drills, IT's, charge up equipment, spraymechs
The Roster
* 7 days on 7 days off; 7 nights on 7 days off
* Wednesday to Tuesday roster pattern
* 12-hour shifts
Your Value
You will come from a trade qualification in diesel mechanics or light vehicle mechanics, backed with the following skills and attributes;-
* All round abilities in the workshop working on diesel machinery
* Heavy vehicles, ag/ forestry or earthmoving machinery experience (essential)
* A keen eagerness to learn and forward your skills in the mining sector
* Ability to work in a team and autonomously
* An excellent attitude towards work
* Safety first mentality
