Job Title: Handyperson
We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre. The Centre is a popular destination that showcases the natural beauty of the Daintree and the culture of the Kuku Yalanji people.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and functionality of buildings, outdoor areas, and landscapes.
* Operate and maintain gardening equipment including mowers, trimmers, and pressure cleaners.
* Ensure all fleet and company vehicles are cleaned, polished, and presented to a high standard.
* Identify and report damage or issues across vehicles and facilities.
* Conduct small handyman tasks as required and assist trade contractors from time to time.
* Receive, store, and manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and chemicals.
* Provide accurate information to visitors and assist in resolving customer queries within your level of authority.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Basic knowledge of gardening and landscaping techniques.
* Experience with operating and maintaining machinery.
* Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
