Base Salary: $90,204 - $107,554 per annum, including six weeks of paid annual recreation leave and leave loading.
Hours of work: 8 am to 4:21 pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch). Overtime penalties apply for contributions to reduced-hour shifts on weekends and public holidays, and for on-call duties.
Opportunity to fly with the Royal Flying Doctor Service as the sole Pharmacist at Tennant Creek Hospital for a week, with additional allowances.
Up to $2000 reimbursement for economy flights to Alice Springs.
Salary sacrifice options, approximately an additional $9,000.
Professional Development Allowance up to $660 per full year of service as of 1 Jan.
On-site accommodation may be available for a nominal rent, subject to availability.
Paid study leave days available after 6 months of service for salaried employees.
Six-month clinical rotations.
Pharmacists working in Alice Springs are eligible for 8CPA funding to support travel and accommodation costs for professional development activities.

Alice Springs Hospital is the main referral hospital for Central Australia, serving over 42,000 people across an area of more than a million square kilometers. It handles over 65,000 admissions annually, with diverse and complex cases, including rheumatic heart disease, bronchiectasis, chronic liver and renal diseases, and a young population with a median age of 34. The 207-bed hospital offers secondary and some tertiary services, including a renal dialysis center for over 400 patients.
