About the Role:
We are seeking a suitably skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to work within our Mining Department to execute both planned and breakdown maintenance on our fleet of Sandvik, Cat and Volvo mobile equipment.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor you will work with mining and maintenance personnel to ensure equipment availability is optimised and asset management work is performed.
The core role requirements are:
* Breakdown maintenance on Sandvik, Cat and Volvo equipment as well as axillary equipment and pumps;
* Planned and periodic maintenance on all equipment;
* General workshop duties;
* Where required liaise with OEMs and other parts suppliers.
The position is offered on a 15/13 day shift or 14/14 night shift FIFO roster from Townsville or Brisbane. Local candidates from Cloncurry or surrounding communities can commute via bus from Cloncurry and are encouraged to apply.
Accommodation is provided onsite at the Eloise Copper Mine; 65km from Cloncurry.
About You:
* Certificate 3 in Automotive Electrical Technology
* 3+ years auto electrical experience (underground fleet experience preferred);
* Manual QLD driver’s license;
* Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment and police clearance;
* A strong communicator and team player who wants to make a difference.
