About The Role
As a Human Resources Business Partner at Discovery Parks, you will develop trusting relationships with leaders, employees, and colleagues to provide HR expertise, advice, and coaching on staff matters.
Key Responsibilities Will Include (but Not Limited To):
* Providing expert advice on employment terms, conditions, and legislative obligations, guiding managers on performance management processes, and supporting compliance with HR policies.
* Supporting managers in addressing performance, organizational change, and employee relations, fostering a positive work environment, and resolving conflicts.
* Recommending and implementing improvements to HR policies and processes to ensure alignment with best practices and operational efficiency.
* Partnering with P&C departments to resolve business issues, enhance employee engagement, and support wellness, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
* Analyzing employment data to provide insights and recommendations for improving employee metrics and reducing turnover.
* Facilitating training on people policies, award interpretation, etc.
Skills & Experience
Applicants should have tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline, with experience in a similar generalist HR role, preferably within tourism, hospitality, or retail sectors.
Other Key Attributes:
* Strong knowledge of Fair Work and industrial relations, including Award interpretation.
* Effective coaching, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to partner with stakeholders to create high-performing teams.
* Passion for data analysis to inform practice changes.
* Ability to facilitate workshops on policies and industrial relations changes.
* Interest in diversity and inclusion initiatives.
* Proven ability to influence leaders to enact change.
* High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
* Ability to work at pace, multitask, and meet deadlines.
* Experience with organizational development, performance management, succession planning, and remuneration processes.
* Experience advising on HR policies within a hospitality/accommodation environment.
