Key Responsibilities- Ensure service levels from each key functional area are at or above benchmarked targets by monitoring performance and analysing data to identify areas for improvement.- Manage operational and administrative teams, actively facilitating and developing capability, talent, and succession plans.- Accountable for the delivery of EBITDA Budget across operational and P&L; financial performance.- Recruit, retain, and develop staff by providing training and support to meet business objectives.- Lead the strategic direction for the region in line with the strategic priorities and direction of the business, communicating and cascading priority objectives across the Intermodal and Tasmanian networks.- Align and collaborate with Sales leads to promote growth and progress in operations in line with financial and strategic network development objectives.
Qualifications and Skills- Robust understanding of end-to-end transportation solution building, encompassing revenue, cost, and safety concerns.- Ability to initiate and complete improvement projects in line with organisational goals. Strategic thinking and planning skills to drive the achievement of strategic objectives within the organisation.- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and maintain strong customer relationships.- Strong financial background with understanding of Cost, Margin, and EBIT and associated financial reports to manage budgets effectively.- Proven track record in building and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction to drive revenue growth.
