Be responsible for estimating tender quotes and ensuring that tenders are accurate and submitted on time for various construction remediation projects across our growing NSW division. 
THE ROLE 
Prepare and develop accurate cost estimatesCompile accurate material quantity take-offs to develop bills of quantitiesAssist preparing and developing construction methodologies, programs and submission documentationDevelop estimates from first principles using site productivity ratesPrepare risk and opportunity including cost escalation analysis for estimatesReview designs and engineering specifications for cost effectiveness and suggest alternatives where applicableHand over detailed tenders with traceability and support into pre-contracts and delivery 
About You 
Previous experience in estimating in Defence, Construction and/or building remediationStrong interpersonal skills, confidence, professionalism and self-motivationA strong financial and commercial acumenHigh level attention to detail and the ability to work to set timeframes while multitaskingCapability to present your estimates to Senior Management for approval to submitActively seek additional information or clarification through RFI’s to the Client to ensure a complete set of tender documentsTertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar equivalent
