We are on the lookout for a technical Senior Business Analyst who loves people and technology, and is ready to embark on a full-time, permanent role in an innovative consultancy environment.
Your opportunity
We are seeking a talented and passionate Senior Business Analyst to join our Project Management team. Our ideal candidate must be an Australian Citizen with Australian government baseline, NV1 or higher security clearance (non-negotiable, as we work with many government agencies that require this).
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between stakeholders and the development team, interpreting business requirements into understandable development tasks to match a final software product with the expected business value.
You will work with our clients (and internal project teams) to workshop and capture clients' technical and business requirements, collaboratively refine and rank them, and produce Business Requirements Specification documents to be used for solution designs and delivery. You will also wear a "tester" hat, creating quality test plans and cases that align with the requirements document.
You will have visibility of the project from concept to delivery, including business requirements gathering, Business process mapping, and working with consultants to create functional specification documents, wireframes / mock-ups, process flow diagrams, user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and scripts.
The role could also include a documentation and training component, involving the development and delivery of training materials in various formats.
This is a highly visible role, and you will have visibility of the project all the way through to delivery, including business requirements gathering, business process mapping, and working with consultants to create functional specification documents, wireframes, mock-ups, process flow diagrams, test plans, and scripts.

* Have demonstrated Business Analyst experience (5+ years) across multiple industries (government and private sector) in IT software projects
* Experienced in Microsoft 365/Power Platform projects
* Are skilled in supporting testing solutions to ensure they meet Business Requirements Specifications
o Contributing to the test strategy
o Contributing to test plans and cases
o Performing testing and working with the technical team to correct errors
o Creating scenarios and test scripts for User Acceptance Testing
* Are highly experienced in requirements elicitation and comfortable working with senior decision-makers
* Expert in
o Business Process Flows
o Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
* Able to leverage your strong communication skills and analytical background to accurately articulate business requirements, documenting them clearly for both developers and stakeholders
* Supporting change management by helping users adopt new systems or processes through training
* Have a passion for problem-solving and developing elegant solutions
* Manage competing priorities and multiple projects when required, to effectively meet deadlines
* Are an approachable and awesome team player
* Are an Australian citizen and have at least Australian government baseline security clearance or NV1
