Job Description
About the Role:
* Ensure the safe operation of locomotives, encompassing mainline and yard operations.
* Conduct basic train examinations, including roll-by inspections.
* Operate Aurizon motor vehicles as required.
* Maintain compliance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures.
You will work a 24/7 shift roster, including early starts, late finishes, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Required Skills & Qualifications
About You:
* Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
* Be able to work a 24/7 shift work roster, including availability for weekends/public holidays.
* Hold a current unrestricted Class C drivers' licence.
* Be capable of undertaking an extensive training program, incorporating both theory and practical components.
* Evidently demonstrate commitment to Aurizon values and a willingness to engage in a diverse work environment.
