Account Manager

, a Danaher operating company, is looking for an Account Manager to manage assigned territory in Australia, mainly based in Melbourne.
Overview
As an Account Manager, you will maintain and grow relationships with existing and new customers, provide sales and technical support, and achieve sales and unit goals.
Responsibilities
Originate and respond to phone calls, providing technical information related to chromatography products.
Plan and conduct customer visits to provide product demonstrations and technical seminars.
Ensure that the assigned territory meets sales and unit goals.
Develop relationships with customers and create business plans, market analyses, and sales strategies.
Maintain a positive attitude, be a team player, and contribute to company culture.
Manage customer information in the database system (MSCRM).
Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and management.
Build referral and lead generation networks; address client concerns and handle escalated calls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in any Life Science field.
Minimum 10 years of sales experience with chromatography expertise.
Excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
Motivated and positive "can do" attitude; team player; eager to learn and contribute to culture.
Ability to present clearly to large groups, such as seminars and training sessions.
Travel and Physical Requirements
Willingness to travel up to 90% outside the territory and 10% within.
Preferred Experience
Experience working in cross-functional teams and matrices.
Hands-on laboratory experience in chromatography using HPLC.
