Working alongside an experienced draftsperson, you’ll play a key role in preparing high‑quality drafting outputs that support subdivision, planning, and development projects across Perth and regional Western Australia. Key Responsibilities Prepare and draft Subdivision Plans, Master Plans, LDPs, Subdivision Designs, Feature Surveys, and related development documentation. Undertake planning and development research, including reviewing R‑Codes, policies and scheme requirements. Ensure drawings and documentation meet internal accuracy, quality and presentation standards. Support coordination between Planning, Survey and Delivery teams to meet project milestones. Provide clear, professional written and verbal advice to clients and referral agencies. Maintain a proactive, solutions‑focused approach to client service. Identify workflow improvements and contribute to continuous business growth. Key Competencies Solid understanding of the Western Australian planning framework, subdivision processes and relevant legislation. Working knowledge of statutory and strategic planning principles. Experience engaging with local and state government representatives. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent attention to detail, presentation and time‑management. Positive, collaborative attitude within a multidisciplinary team environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MAGNET, or similar drafting software.
