Byron Shire Council is currently seeking an experienced and motivated person to fill the role of Turf and Irrigation Maintenance Officer. 
- Assist the Asset Maintenance & Inspections Officer with asset maintenance works to ensure scheduled works and services are completed in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner. 
- Provide specialist turf management on Council sports fields. 
- Operate and undertake programmed and reactive maintenance to in-ground irrigation systems and plumbing assets. 
- Provide a high level of service in the maintenance of Councils' Open Space Assets.

**Location**: 
This position is based at Byron Depot however Council can require you to work from other work sites as required for operational reasons.
