This exciting opportunity is for a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our dynamic pharmacy in Mackay. The successful candidate will be responsible for counselling patients, delivering specialized services such as vaccinations and medicinal cannabis, and managing a team of experienced professionals.
About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional individual who possesses strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. As the sole Pharmacist, you will work closely with a skilled Dispense Technician and a capable front-of-shop team to deliver exceptional customer service and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Counselling patients on medications and treatments
* Delivering specialized services such as vaccinations and medicinal cannabis
* Managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy
* Liaising with healthcare providers and other stakeholders
Requirements
* Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
* Strong customer service focus
* Ability to work independently and manage a team
* Ability to provide vaccinations and handle medicinal cannabis
* Confidence using dispensing systems
