The Grill, our 2-hatted restaurant at The International in Martin place, is seeking an exceptional Casual Sommelier to join our award‐winning team.
The Grill delivers refined, produce‐driven cuisine alongside a deeply considered wine program that celebrates benchmark producers, classic regions and progressive makers. Our cellar is curated with intent — balancing prestige, rarity and drinkability — and we are looking for a sommelier who can bring it to life on the floor.
This is a role for someone who understands that wine service is not about reciting facts — it's about reading the room, guiding with confidence, and elevating the guest experience with warmth and precision.
What You'll Bring
* Strong floor presence and polished service standards
* Sound knowledge of classic regions and modern producers
* Confidence in recommending across all price points
* Experience working within a structured wine program
* A current RSA
