Project Manager Role Overview
A dynamic and experienced Project Manager is required to oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, ensuring successful outcomes through effective scope management, timely completion, and high-quality results.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of structured project management processes, including gate reviews, scope management, and performance monitoring tools. They will also have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enabling them to coordinate internal teams and external vendors seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage project delivery, aligning with established objectives and ensuring the achievement of desired outcomes.
* Lead cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration and open communication among stakeholders.
* Apply project management methodologies, including risk identification and mitigation strategies, to ensure project success.
* Develop cost estimates for new opportunities by contributing to cost models, documentation, and stakeholder consultation.
* Identify and report project risks, implementing approved mitigation strategies as needed.
Requirements:
* Qualification in engineering or extensive site-based supervisory experience delivering complex projects.
* Over 10 years' experience in heavy industry, specializing in rotating plant and high-value project delivery.
* Strong negotiation, commercial, and communication skills, with a solid grasp of contract terms.
* Proven ability to manage projects exceeding $2M, including cost control, reporting, and scope management.
* Experience in leading estimating, tendering, and contract development processes.
