Job Opportunity: Front Office Supervisor
A Front Office Supervisor is the primary point of contact for guests in a hotel lobby, responsible for creating a positive impression and providing exceptional service.
The key responsibilities of a Front Office Supervisor include:
* Greeting and assisting guests, particularly VIPs and long-stay guests
* Managing guest complaints and resolving issues promptly
* Coordinating services and facilities for long-stay guests
* Understanding credit procedures and applying them correctly
* Staying up-to-date with hotel operations, policies, and emergency procedures
* Monitoring guest satisfaction reports and implementing actions to improve results
* Handling management issues and emergencies as required
* Conducting health and safety procedures, such as fire drills and food safety investigations
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous supervisory experience in Front Office within the hotel/leisure/retail sector
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety and security procedures
* Calm, efficient, and able to work well under pressure
* Excellent leadership skills and exceptional communication skills
* A passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
* Strong commercial acumen, with experience in increasing profitability in a tight market sector
* Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results in a similar-sized property
