- Plus 11% employer superannuation
- Armidale based role. Remote Flexible or hybrid work arrangements will be considered

About the role(s)
The Casual Designer role(s) will be responsible for executing high‑quality visual content that aligns with UNE's brand and marketing objectives. This involves working across a variety of digital, motion and print mediums to produce engaging and innovative design solutions that capture the imagination of UNEs stakeholders and target markets.
We are seeking designers with varying levels of experience, from junior to senior, who can support the team during periods of team leave, manage overflow work and for special projects. We are particularly interested in candidates with the following attributes:
- Graphic designer with print experience.
- Senior designer capable of managing projects end‑to‑end.
- Digital designer with expertise in motion graphics, short‑form video, and HTML5 assets.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your capabilities across print and/or digital mediums.
- The ability to work autonomously on projects, or collaboratively within a team, depending on your experience level.
- Proficiency with relevant Adobe Creative Suite applications.
- For remote positions, access to a personal computer and an active Adobe Creative Suite licence is assumed.
- A valid Working with Children Check is required for this position (Armidale campus).
About the Faculty/Group
The Future Students and Engagement Department at UNE oversees all external‑facing functions at UNE with a comprehensive, integrated strategy. This includes marketing, advancement, alumni office, social media, and corporate communications and events. The department focuses on engaging with industry partners, alumni, philanthropic supporters, governments and communities, while also attracting and connecting with prospective students. The team effectively showcases UNEs offerings, builds relationships with key stakeholders, and fosters a strong connected community.
