Job Description
RSR Consulting TECS Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Hardware Technician to join its technical team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining computer hardware systems, supporting customers with technical issues, and ensuring efficient operation of IT equipment across retail and service operations. Benefits Competitive salary package aligned with market standards Full-time stable employment Opportunity to work with a reputable IT solutions provider Supportive and technically focused work environment Task & responsibilities Diagnose, repair and maintain computer hardware, peripherals and related equipment Install, configure and test computer systems, components and operating systems Troubleshoot hardware faults and provide timely technical solutions Assemble and configure custom-built computer systems based on customer requirements Perform system upgrades, replacements and preventative maintenance Maintain accurate records of repairs, service requests and inventory Provide technical advice and support to customers on hardware-related issues Assist in managing spare parts, tools and workshop inventory Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures Collaborate with technicians and sales teams to deliver effective IT solutions Qualification & experience
At lease AQF diploma level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Hardware or related field and At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in hardware repair or IT technical support Strong knowledge of computer hardware, components and troubleshooting techniques Experience with system assembly, diagnostics and repairs Strong problem solving and analytical skills Good communication and customer service skills About Company TECS Pty Ltd is a well-established Australian-owned IT solutions provider based in Melbourne, supplying computer hardware, custom-built systems and IT services to individuals, businesses and government clients.
