The Rental House is a brand new property management business on the Sunshine Coast, created to do property management properly. With streamlined systems, realistic portfolios, and a focus on long-term relationships rather than volume.
We are a sibling company of a boutique Buyer's Agency, meaning our rent roll is built organically through acquisitions — no business development, cold calling, or prospecting required. This role offers a rare opportunity to step into a clean slate and help shape the way a modern property management business operates from the ground up.

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Property Manager who wants autonomy, flexibility, and the chance to create systems their way.
You'll manage a growing portfolio and play a key role in establishing processes, workflows, and standards as the business grows.
This is a full-time position, with work-from-home flexibility available.

Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end management of a residential portfolio
* Managing landlord and tenant relationships with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Conducting routine inspections and coordinating maintenance
* Lease renewals, rent reviews, and arrears management
* Ensuring compliance with QLD legislation
* Contributing to the setup and refinement of systems and processes

What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a residential Property Manager
* Strong knowledge of QLD tenancy legislation
* Familiar with Ailo Property Management Software is handy but not required.
* Confidence working autonomously and making decisions
* A mindset geared toward process improvement and best practice
* REIQ Certificate of Registration required
