Behaviour Support Practitioner Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team and make a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in the disability sector and has expertise in behaviour support, mentoring, and supervision. You will have the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing individualised support to participants, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans, and working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in behaviour support, report writing experience, and excellent time management and organisational skills. They will also be proactive, motivated by improvement, and committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist participants, their families, and carers in identifying needs through assessment and person-centred planning
* Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
* Develop meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework
* Ensure individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions, and strengths
* Build the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants in their lives
