About the Role
We're seeking a hands-on and dependable Maintenance Officer to support our aged care and retirement living services in Orange. This is a full-time role (38 hours per week, Monday to Friday) offering secure, ongoing work with no weekend shifts.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of our buildings, grounds, and equipment—playing an important role in keeping our services safe, well-presented, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Be Doing
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across site facilities
* Responding promptly to maintenance requests and safety issues
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with WHS requirements
* Communicating respectfully with residents, families, and colleagues
* Supporting asset management through accurate reporting and documentation
What You'll Bring
* Experience in maintenance, facilities, or a general handyperson role
* A solid understanding of workplace health and safety
* Trade qualification (desirable but not essential)
* A practical, solutions-focused mindset
* Good communication skills and basic computer literacy
* A current NSW Driver's Licence
Desirable Experience
* Maintenance experience in aged care, retirement living, or community services
* Familiarity with maintenance systems (CMMS) — training available
