As a Training Officer at Clarence Correctional Centre, you'll play a key role in supporting staff capability across a large, multi-functional environment. You'll deliver engaging training and assessment that helps people feel confident, capable, and safe in their roles. Working closely with the People & Capability team, you'll contribute to a positive learning culture that supports rehabilitation, safety, and respect. Your work will directly support staff development across the full employee lifecycle.
As a Training Officer in the People & Capability team, you'll make a positive impact by:
Delivering high-quality training and assessments to staff and contractorsSupporting the development and implementation of training plansPromoting a positive and inclusive learning culture across the centreLiaising with stakeholders to ensure training compliance and currencyMaintaining training resources, facilities, and learning materialsEncouraging continuous improvement in training practices and outcomes

Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
