About The Role
As an Experienced Barista at Stellarossa Bernoth Centre Cafe, you will be busy pumping out coffees and preparing cold drinks for dine-in and takeaway, while interacting with guests, taking their orders, and supporting your fellow team members. This is a casual position with lots of hours on offer, including weekend work.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety and mentor junior baristas.Dial in grinders to Stellarossa espresso recipe.Interact with guests, taking their orders and providing exceptional customer service.Assist with opening and closing duties.Support your team members and create a positive atmosphere.Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
Minimum of year experience as a barista.Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.Availability to work weekends is essential.A charismatic, engaging, bright, and bubbly personality.High energy and productivity levels.Well-rounded coffee and guest service experience.Openness to learning and following systems.
