Aeris Resources are currently seeking applications for Pit Techniciansat Murrawombie part of our Tritton Operations in Central NSW.
The Nitty Gritty
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist this role is offered on a residential or DIDO arrangement, with a 7/7 rotating days and nights roster.Day to day will see you classify ore into grade categories, perform grade control samplings from blast hole rigs and monitor and report on ore quality while ensuring adherence to grade control procedures and contributing to safety and environmental compliance
efforts.
In addition to this you will:
Oversee daily operations to monitor the extraction of ore and ensure data is collected safely and efficiently.
Assist with the marking of ore and waste blocks for extraction.
Support the installation of Blast Movement Indicators (BVI) equipment.
Use specialized tools and software to analyse and document geological data.
Monitor and report ore quality, ensuring adherence to grade control procedures.
Work collaboratively with geologists, engineers, and other departments to improve pit design and operational efficiency.
About You
Previous experience in open pit mining (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong knowledge of geological ore spotting and sampling methods.
Excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication & organisation skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
A valid NSW Driver's License and high level of competency with manual vehicle.
Ability to thrive in physically demanding conditions and adjust to changing weather environments.

Tritton Copper Operations is a long-life copper mine located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales.
Commencing production in ****, Tritton is 100% owned and operated by Aeris Resources and forms the cornerstone of our copper production.
Tritton mines from multiple sources and as we look to bring more mines into production, weare transitioning to a 'hub-and-spoke' model where ore is transported to our centralised mill for processing.
