Job Title: Rocket Hardware Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Rocket Hardware Engineer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will design and develop custom hardware for small satellite launch vehicles, leveraging cutting-edge hybrid propulsion technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and maintain design justification files for custom hardware components.
* Develop and test structures for flight, testing, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) using various engineering tools.
* Review existing specifications, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and other data to develop mechanical designs.
* Develop manufacturing specifications incorporating an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Analyze and interpret data collected during testing.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Mechatronics Engineering, along with 1+ years of experience in mechanical or structural design and drafting. A permanent resident of Australia is also required. NV1 Security Clearance eligibility is preferred.
