Senior Planning Engineer Opportunities
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Mine Planning Engineer to join our Underground Technical Services team at the KCGM Operations' new Fimiston Underground Mine. This challenging role is offered on a 4/3 roster or Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) from Perth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading planning requirements within the Mining Engineering team, supervising engineers and providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities;
* Designing, optimizing, and analyzing underground mine plans;
* Preparing and delivering monthly and quarterly mining schedules;
* Collaborating with seniors for long-term design execution;
To thrive in this role, you'll need advanced skills in Deswik packages, practical experience in various mining methods, strong collaboration skills, previous experience with financial modeling, and excellent communication skills.
