About the Position
We are looking to welcome a part time FTE) Sexual Abuse Therapist to work with children and young people who have experienced sexual harm or display harmful sexual behaviours. The role will include an early intervention focus and working holistically with families/parents/carers to prevent further harm.
* Part Time FTE) position.
* Government funded until 30 June 2028 with the possibility of extension.
* Level 6 under the SCHCADS Salary range is $110,110 - $114,984 (Pro-Rata) + Super.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake assessment related to child's experience of sexual abuse and trauma.
* Identify and work toward client goals and achieve successful case outcomes with clients.
* Develop and review safety plans with young people and protective adults related to harmful sexual behaviour.
* Deliver protective behaviour training to children and young people.

About You
* A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, psychology).
* At least two-years' experience working with children, young people and their families in similar roles.
* Experience providing individual therapy to children, young people and their families.
* Experience with Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
* Experience delivering psychoeducation to children and adults.
