Role Manager – Finance Shared Services. Lead a high‑performing team that keeps our financial operations running smoothly. Inspire and mentor the Accounts Payable and Receivable team, ensuring invoices, payments and receipts are processed accurately and on time, while providing crucial support to our banking and treasury function. Champion continuous improvement, drive team development and deliver exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach and mentor the Accounts Payable/Receivable team, fostering a cooperative and high‑performance culture.
Deliver exceptional stakeholder service by maintaining strong relationships and providing advice on billing, payment processes and accounting policies.
Drive continuous improvement to optimise processes, reduce risk and maintain accurate documentation for business continuity.
Ensure accurate and timely financial processing, including invoices, payments, receipts and meeting all financial timetables.
Support strategic initiatives by assisting the Head of Finance with projects and governance requirements.
Qualifications
Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting or bookkeeping.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership capacity, with a track record of driving team performance and operational excellence.
Comprehensive knowledge of finance processes and subject matter expertise, including shared service controls and compliance with applicable legislation.
Exceptional planning, organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
Advanced experience with systems such as SAP, Concur, OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, EKA, Avangard Integrity and IMOS (desirable).
Strong background in the grain industry or bulk commodity trading (desirable).
Solid understanding of banking systems and best practice (desirable).
