We are serious about our next Payroll & Reporting Specialist, a star to lead and strengthen payroll across two established recruitment businesses Talentpath Recruitment and Dixon Appointments. Between us, we process payroll for more than 400 temporary workers, plus internal teams across both businesses.
This is a role for someone who knows payroll inside out, enjoys working in a fast‐paced environment, and takes real pride in running a function that is accurate, efficient, compliant and genuinely people‐focused.
The Role:
* Full end‐to‐end payroll for internal employees and a large temporary workforce across two businesses
* Weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles
* Bonuses, commissions, back pays, terminations and payroll adjustments
* Superannuation, STP, payroll tax, EOFY processing and reporting across multiple states
* Award interpretation, compliance and legislative updates
* OHS and WHS requirements aligned to contracting and workplace obligations
* Managing payroll queries with care, responsiveness and professionalism
* Supporting payroll systems integration and identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working
* Partnering with key stakeholders and helping scale payroll processes as the businesses continue to grow
About you:
* Strong end‐to‐end payroll experience in a complex environment
* Experience in temp/contractor payroll, staffing, payroll services or another fast‐paced service‐based business
* Confidence managing payroll across multiple awards, entities, states or cost centres
* A strong grasp of payroll legislation, compliance and reporting requirements
* Experience with cloud‐based payroll systems
* Exposure to payroll implementations, systems transitions or integration projects
* A naturally curious, process‐improvement mindset
* The ability to work autonomously while still being a collaborative, positive part of the team
