We are seeking an HSEQ Manager with Health & Safety leadership experience in residential construction to drive our client's safety culture.
Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated leadership experience in Health & Safety within the residential construction sector
* Possession of relevant HSE qualifications (Certificate IV, Diploma, or higher)
* Comprehensive understanding of HSE legislation and compliance obligations
* Proven track record in implementing and sustaining ISO 45001 certification
* Exceptional interpersonal abilities to engage, educate, and motivate both teams and contractors
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* High level of integrity, consistency, and dedication to excellence
Duties
* Maintain and enhance the HSE Management System, ensuring legal compliance
* Drive Safety Improvement Strategy and supervise ISO 45001 certification
* Oversee incident investigations, reporting, and regulator communication
* Advise managers and staff on HSE matters and prepare Board level safety reports
* Conduct site inspections, training, and promote safety culture
* Chair monthly HSE meetings and present at management forums
* Manage work cover claims, rehabilitation, and return-to-work processes
