Based in Nhill.
Part Time (64 hours/fortnight) Fixed Term - 12 months maternity leave position, with the possibility of extending.
HS1-HS2 dependent on qualifications and experience.
ABOUT THE ROLE/S: As a key team member with the pay office, our Payroll Officer works towards the preparation of the fortnightly pay file.
Daily routines comprise of importing clock data and completing exception report process including corrections, staff leave, overtime and other adjustments to the pay.
Supporting workflow with tasks including maintenance of personnel files, preparation and completion of monthly and annual compliance reports and other duties as required by Pay Office Manager and the Executive Director of Finance and Administration.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Effective communication and organisational skills Excellent analysis, reporting and writing skills Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including award interpretation, leave calculations, and superannuation Demonstrated commitment to handling sensitive employee data with discretion and professionalism Desirable, but not essential: Qualification (Certificate or above) in (pertinent to the position) or equivalent field.
Previous experience working in interpreting and applying enterprise agreements or similar field Understanding of human resource functions working closely with HR teams, including recruitment and onboarding processes PRE-REQUISITES: NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
Working with Children Check.
Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
