**Job Description**: We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our Fleet and Maintenance Operations team as a Leading Hand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our workshop, including the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment. You will also be required to provide leadership and guidance to other team members and contribute to the development of our fleet and depot operations branch.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* To oversee the daily operation of the workshop and ensure that all tasks and instructions are carried out and completed as directed.
* To maintain plant and equipment to a high standard, including carrying out routine servicing and repairs as necessary.
* To provide leadership and guidance to other team members, including training and mentoring where required.
* To contribute to the development of our fleet and depot operations branch, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
**Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment.
• Fault diagnostic skills, including machine management software operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
