A bit about the role

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in Casey's OneCouncil ERP Transformation Program. As our Process Improvement Officer, you will lead end-to-end process redesign across multiple workstreams, partnering with stakeholders to simplify, streamline and strengthen how we work.

You'll analyse current practices, design efficient and customer-focused future states, and help embed sustainable improvements that enhance both community outcomes and organisational performance.

This is a full-time, limited tenure role through to 30 September 2026, offering the chance to contribute to one of Council's most significant transformation initiatives.

What you'll deliver

* Lead cross-departmental process work, collaborating with stakeholders across Council to deliver better customer outcomes.
* Partner with business teams to validate current processes and shape efficient, customer-focused future state designs.
* Coordinate with the OneCouncil project and broader organisation to identify interdependencies and support seamless end-to-end process design.
* Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods to map, analyse, and optimise processes for maximum efficiency and impact.
* Use data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities, guide decisions, and measure the success of process changes.

What you'll bring

* Tertiary qualifications with significant experience in mapping and analysing processes using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
* Demonstrated experience on complex projects, including process optimisation and transformation.
* Proficient in employing continuous improvement methods to document and enhance processes.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and clearly explain complex concepts.
* Proficiency conducting research and using data to enhance organisational performance and deliver outcomes for customers.
* Knowledge of Technology One - OneCouncil and relevant tools such as Jira, Process Manager (Promapp), Mural, and Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Planner)
* Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check
* A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
