About the role
The Remuneration Lead oversees the delivery and continuous improvement of the Fund's remuneration processes, frameworks, and cycles, working closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and aligned outcomes.
Reporting to the Head of Remuneration, the role also provides day-to-day coaching, guidance, and technical support to the Remuneration & Reporting Analyst.
Key Accountabilities
* Coordinate and support the delivery of the Job Grading, Job Titling, and Pay Range Project to support enhanced pay transparency and consistency
* Coordinate annual remuneration review processes, including insights and analytics to support fair, competitive, and market-aligned outcomes
* Partner with Organisational Development and key stakeholders to strengthen the link between performance and remuneration
* Support delivery of the Variable Payment Program (VPP), including payments, invitations, data management, and CPS 511 assessments
* Manage remuneration benchmarking and external survey submissions, providing market insights and trends
* Build remuneration capability across People & Culture through coaching and knowledge sharing
* Embed strong remuneration governance, compliance, and risk management practices, including CPS 511 requirements
* Contribute to broader People & Culture initiatives and projects as required
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualifications in either Human Resource Management, Business, IT or relevant discipline or equivalent business experience.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role in the Financial Services Industry
* Qualified in either Korn Ferry Hay or Mercer IPE Job Evaluation Methodology
* Experience in establishing and maintaining role grading, remuneration benchmarking and knowledge of the Financial Institutions Remuneration Group (FIRG) preferred
* Experience in a range of HRIS/Payroll systems including Chris21 would be highly regarded
* Ability to engage effectively with multiple stakeholders across all levels of Cbus
* Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when dealing with remuneration matters
